Today is the first day of 2024,
The date 1st of Jan (1), 2024,
All numbers add up to one,
New beginnings.
Very appropriate for the first day of the year.
The new beginnings, apart from a new year,
Are about our new beginnings of our self,
And our emotional energy.
Our ability to see our patterns of behaviour,
We have developed over our life,
That keep us in control and maintain our way,
Of managing, our insecurities.
We are all very clever, at avoiding,
Feeling to the core of our being,
Because this will bring up suppressed emotions,
Believing that we are not enough.
And, so we create ways to cope in our lives,
And show others that we are capable and in control.
Living in our avoidance,
That becomes our illusion.
To take responsibility to see clearly,
Takes courage,
But it is up to each one of us,
What we are willing to put up with,
And what we are willing to attend to.
We are all here to remember, if we choose.
Our bodies are all we have of our self,
They will bring things to our attention, physically,
Every ailment has an emotional message,
For us to address.
We can live to avoid,
We can live to address,
It just depends if the pain is greater,
To stay in what we know, or to make the change.
There is no right or wrong,
There is no judgement,
We can all make the choice.
