We have all been born into this world,
This is a sign of how powerful we are,
Just in being born.
Yet, we do not know,
We do not allow,
We do not recognise,
How powerful we are.
We live our lives,
In service to others,
Putting our lives on hold,
Looking for their approval,
Their acceptance of who we are.
We do not need another’s approval,
We need to know how to live,
In our powerfulness,
Our own significance.
Society dictates many rules and regulations,
What is accepted and what is not,
And how we should behave,
It is not about being rebellious,
It is about recognising how powerful we are,
In who we are.
Often we dismiss ourselves,
Putting ourselves on hold,
Justifying our situation,
That seems logical.
All we are doing,
Is living in denial,
Of our ability,
To recognise our significance,
And therefore, denying our own power,
Of who we are.
Dig deep and recognise,
Your own powerfulness,
Respect your power,
In being who you are,
And do not live,
In denial of this.
Live in acceptance of this,
Embrace it and receive it,
Recognise you,
And love the power within you.
