With only ourselves, naked.
As, we grow, we accumulate possessions,
Often spending our lives, sifting through,
Throwing out, buying new, wanting more.
When you stop to think about it,
It is just stuff,
Yet, we often stress over not getting what we want,
Or worrying about missing out.
It really doesn’t matter.
With what we do have, or what we don’t.
We are not here to prove, or justify,
Nothing can give us value or status,
Only we can.
Driving the top range BMW or the clapped up bomb,
Doesn’t make us any better, or worse than anyone else.
The best way to value ourselves,
Is to fully appreciate all who we are,
While we all have a tongue, we can never get lost.
So, never lose sight of your ability to be you.
We all have the opportunity to ask ourselves,
To show us how to feel our realisation of our,
Appreciation of our self.
We are here to remember how to feel our own,
Connection to our self.
To appreciate and love our self for all that we are.
