Our loyalty to ourselves, Lies with ourselves, We are not here to show the world, Who we are, We are here to show ourselves, Who we are. When we are young, We are just being, just imagining, just connected, Bit by bit, We learn to hurry, be somewhere, do something. We lose that ability, Just to be with ourselves. We learn to fit into society, Living by doing what we see to do, By the rules, The expectations of others. When we don’t want to conform, We become ‘difficult’, ‘different’, Often being judged by others, And ourselves, because. Human nature is, We all want to be a part of something, To belong. From the understanding our loyalty lies with ourselves, We belong to ourselves, Can our true, honest relationship of our life begin, With ourselves.

We may go to psychics, readers, Medical professionals, counsellors, For advise or answers, They can only give us answers, Based on themselves and what they know. The answers are in our own, Listening of ourselves. Everything is laid out in front of us, To bring us back to ourselves. We have to know how to feel our way. We are not here to fit into another’s box, We are here to fit into our box, our journey, To trust and allow. There is no quick fix, It is a process moment by moment, Of our listening and willingness, To shed the many layers we have accumulated, Of what we have been taught, What we have been shown. We live by what we see, And what we have been told, It doesn’t mean it is right or wrong, It often means we are living by another’s ideal. It takes vigilance and commitment, To bring ourselves to the core of our being, To remember our love of self. No one is devoid of this, We are all on our own journey, And no one knows you better than you.

All around us, There is beauty, In nature, In the landscapes, In the sunsets. There is also our own beauty inside all of us, This is the beauty of our soul, Of our being, The true beauty. Yet, we forget to, Live in respect of our inner beauty, As we judge ourselves, On what we see, Neglecting our own beauty within. Wherever we are, Whatever we are doing, We are doing it. Whatever is going on around us, Doesn’t define who we are, We are ourselves, At every moment, And that is what we will always be. It is time, To reflect, On the magnificent, Beings of light and love, That we are. And stop giving ourselves, A hard time, To live our lives, On our terms, For our highest and best. We all matter.

I wrote down, It is not about, How we look, What we wear, The colour of our hair. It is about, Feeling our own love, Of our self, From the core of our being, And no one can take that away. On face book, There was a post, “Be the heroine of your life, Not the victim.’ It is very valid, We give ourselves the short straw, Allowing the opinions of others, The latest trend, To affect our opinions of our self. It is time, To live in trust of ourselves, And allow ourselves, To feel our own acceptance, And love. All we are is our light, In our light, We are our completeness, Our perfection, We just are what we are. Believe and trust in you.  

Waiting for ourselves, All our life. We are all , What we have been, Looking for. To feel fulfilled, In all that we are, To give us, ourselves. To live in respect, Of our loyalty, To ourselves. In this realisation, There is no separation, When there is no separation, From ourselves. There can only be, Connection to our soul, Our being, Our love. Everything around us, Has a message, To bring us, Back to ourselves. We just have to be, In awareness, Of our listening. It can come in simple terms, In the words of a song, Or a comment. If we are in a relationship, Or have been in a relationship, We have to look at that, As if we are looking in the mirror, For the reflection. I was in a relationship, I kept saying, He will not make a commitment, So I ended it. He would not commit, As he did not know how to commit, To anything, As he was still living, In resentment of his father leaving, When he was a child. No one, can commit to us, We have to make a commitment, To ourselves, To allow another to make a commitment. It all

Our Strength, Comes from us, Being our change. From our willingness, To take responsibility, Of what we have attracted, Into our lives. Our lives, Are our creation, No one else’s. If we don’t like it, Only we can change it, To change it, Takes courage. To take the steps, To live in appreciation of our being, And allowing ourselves, The honour to be with ourselves, Honestly. We have to heed our consciousness, In our conscious awareness, We are being our change, To ourselves and the world. We all have the ability.
