We all doubt ourselves on some level,
Believing we have failed or are a failure,
Because of what believe of ourselves.
As we all base ourselves on what we see,
Around us and when we look in the mirror.
We don’t tend to base ourselves, from our inner self, within.
We all feed ourselves every day,
With food & water,
Filling our days with what we have to do,
And places we have to go.
We have to learn to feed ourselves with goodness & love,
Respect and appreciation, for our ability in being who we are.
We are all very good at taking responsibility for others,
Putting others first,
But we are not good at putting ourselves first,
Or making ourselves our priority.
We all have to open ourselves up,
Listen and heed our inner voice,
Remember our potential,
Our expansiveness in this universe.
We are much more that what we see,
We are universal energy,
We are connected to everything,
The birds, the animals, the trees,
Mother Earth.
We have to take note,
And let go our resistance to ourselves,
And allow our souls to guide us,
Get out of our heads,
Open our hearts and trust, us.
